Mr. Cruz has been the project manager for CIDRAP since 2010. He is responsible for facilitating and assuring successful completion of goals and deliverables for new and existing sponsored projects, liaising with the technical team and project funders, and providing lead logistical support as needed. Additionally, he also works on the planning and implementation of IT projects in alignment with / in advancement of CIDRAP's strategic plan.
Mr. Cruz graduated from George Mason University with a BA in economics / BS in business administration, and has a graduate level certificate in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. He has dedicated his skills and time to furthering the development and well-being of diverse people and communities, first working with the American Red Cross, then with the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative, and most recently with the Cooperative Agreement between the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
