Carlos R. Cruz

Project Manager, CIDRAP

Mr. Cruz has been the project manager for CIDRAP since 2010. He is responsible for implementing organizational wide project management practices, liaising with the technical team and project funders, as well as for the planning and coordination of the implementation of information/web technology (IT) projects in alignment with and in advancement of CIDRAP's strategic plan.

Mr. Cruz graduated from George Mason University with a BA in economics / BS in business administration, and has a graduate level certificate in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. He has dedicated his skills and time to furthering the development and well-being of diverse people and communities, first working with the American Red Cross, then with the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative, and most recently with the Cooperative Agreement between the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
