Debora Boyle, DVM, PhD

Deb Boyle

Dr. Boyle is the BioWatch program director for the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP). She worked for the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) for 15 years before joining CIDRAP in January 2005. For most of her time at MDH Dr. Boyle was supervisor of the Center for Occupational Safety and Health and was responsible for developing and implementing research in the areas of occupational injury, cancer, and respiratory disease surveillance.

More recently, Dr. Boyle held the position of supervisor for the Information Systems Unit in the Division of Epidemiology, Prevention and Control. In that capacity, she was responsible for the coordination and implementation of an integrated approach for infectious disease data management.
