Matt Richardson, MPH

Matt Richardson photo

Matt Richardson is a senior public health specialist and exercise team lead for the BioWatch program at CIDRAP. Mr. Richardson received his BS in microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin and his MPH with a focus in epidemiology and biostatistics from the Texas A&M Health Sciences Center School of Rural Public Health. Prior to joining CIDRAP, Mr. Richardson served as the BioWatch jurisdictional coordinator for Texas and FEMA Region VI as a contractor with the US Department of Homeland Security. He also has experience working at state and local health departments in Texas as a microbiologist and infectious disease epidemiologist, covering more than 100 outbreaks during his career.
