Advance the work of a global leader in
public health preparedness and emerging infectious disease response
Part of the Academic Health Center at the University of Minnesota, the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP; "SID-wrap") works to prevent illness and death from targeted infectious disease threats through research and the translation of scientific information into real-world, practical applications, policies, and solutions.
CIDRAP relies heavily on the financial support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to deliver on its mission. This support enables CIDRAP to maintain a full-time seasoned editorial staff dedicated solely to the production on news and other resources made available on this site. Direct support from the University of Minnesota accounts for only 2% of the center's annual operating budget.
Please Note: Gifts to CIDRAP, whether from individuals, foundations, or corporations, have no bearing on CIDRAP News coverage.
