Marburg virus, harbored by fruit bats, has over the years caused 12 known outbreaks in sub-Saharan Africa.
With 9 new infections, the country now has 453 cases and 268 deaths, and 71 people are under investigation.
The outbreak total has reached 305, with 189 deaths and 60 suspected cases.
