Iraq is battling another H5N8 detection, and in South Korea, H5N6 was found on another commercial farm.
The outbreaks involved different strains, including H5N6, H5N1, and H5N8.
H5N8 has now been confirmed in 40 countries, and South Korean scientists shared genetic findings from a recent H5N6 isolate.
Meanwhile, many countries across Europe and Asia continue to battle outbreaks of several strains.
Also, a study from China says H5N6 has replaced H5N1 as the dominant strain in southern poultry.
