Cases include the first in Mexico and Grenada and two locally acquired infections in Venezuela.
US flu activity showed a modest jump last week, with the clinic visits for flu-like illness rising above baseline for the first time this season.
The US flu season is picking up, and 2009 H1N1 is the dominant strain so far.
