With 1 new case confirmed today, the Ebola outbreak has grown to 3,304 infections, including 2,198 fatal ones.
Outbreak totals climb to 3,224 infections, including 2,150 fatal ones.
Also, global health officials note that 1,000 people in the DRC have now recovered from the disease.
With 4 new infections today, the outbreak has reached 3,175 cases.
"Ebola is a reality, not a chimera," Gressly says, urging cooperation with response efforts.
They say the world is not prepared for a pandemic.
Four times as many children died from Ebola in the past 6 months compared with the previous 6 months.
"This outbreak is one with unprecedented challenges." the WHO's Moeti says.
With 41 new cases in recent days, the outbreak has grown to 2,671 infections, including 1,782 fatalities.
Also, a high-level meeting was held in Geneva today to assess the latest developments and build donor support.
