Nepal also reports H5N1 at a zoo, while 5 European nations confirm more H5N8 outbreaks.
France reports 68 new H5N8 poultry outbreaks, and Hungary confirms 455,000 affected birds.
In other developments, Iran reported several more H5N8 outbreaks and Bosnia and Herzegovina reported its first H5 outbreak of the season.
Also, 5 European nations report much more H5N8, and Japan confirms a new H5 outbreak.
Finland, Poland, and the UK also report new H5N8 avian flu outbreaks.
New H5N8 outbreaks, which have affected at least 24 European countries, plus some in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, were reported in Germany, Italy, Poland, and the UK.
The UK reported H5N8 avian flu on a pheasant farm housing 10,000 birds.
In addition to widespread H5N8, H5N1 is confirmed in Nigeria and H5N6 in Japan.
Several European countries reported more H5N8 outbreaks several different settings: wild birds, poultry, and even at a zoo.
