Officials note new H5N1 outbreaks in India, Laos, Niger, and Vietnam.
Detections vary from H5N1 in India to the confirmation of H5N5 for the first time in Slovenia.
In addition to widespread H5N8, H5N1 is confirmed in Nigeria and H5N6 in Japan.
New reports to the OIE involve avian flu outbreaks in 8 countries.
Meanwhile, many countries across Europe and Asia continue to battle outbreaks of several strains.
Finland, France, and Romania report their first outbreaks, while India and Iran note further spread.
The strain has also been detected farther west in Europe in wild birds in Switzerland, as well as in Germany.
The virus is spreading south and west as experts predicted after the H5 clade was discovered in Russia in June.
Hungary and India reported H5N8, and Algeria found an H7N1 link to a waterfowl die-off.
The OIE says avian flu oubreaks in 35 nations since early 2014 highlight the importance of prevention and control.
