(CIDRAP News) – Federal and state health officials are investigating an Escherichia coli O157:H7 outbreak linked to mixed salad greens that has sickened at least 28 people in five East Coast states, most of them in New York.

E coli cases jump to 157; experts share clinical advice

(CIDRAP News) – Eleven more cases were identified today in a nationwide Escherichia coli O157:H7 outbreak related to fresh spinach, bringing the total to 157, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported.
