(CIDRAP News) You've got to gather a lot of eggs to supply the world with influenza vaccine, but that might change before long.
(CIDRAP News) – European veterinary experts who met in Brussels today concluded there is little immediate risk that wild birds will spread avian influenza from Russia into Europe.
(CIDRAP News) In an effort to modernize vaccine production while preparing for an influenza pandemic, the US government today awarded five contracts totaling more than $1 billion to develop cell-based technologies for making flu vaccines.
