(CIDRAP News) A World Health Assembly (WHA)committee that took up a resolution to destroy the remaining stocks of smallpox virus failed to reach an agreement today, despite a working group's attempts to find an acceptable solution.
(CIDRAP News) – Health groups fighting cholera outbreaks in Africa and Haiti are reporting increasing numbers of cases, prompting calls for more attention and coordination from the global community.
Study finds 87% vaccine effectiveness, as Haiti reports a 75% drop in cases over this time last year.
Experts made more recommendations about fractional IPV dosing and also discussed issued related to cholera, Ebola, and diphtheria.
