Angela Ulrich, PhD, MPH

Dr. Ulrich is a researcher and an assistant professor. As an infectious disease epidemiologist, she focuses on using epidemiologic research to inform disease prevention and control strategies and policies. She has studied interventions to control different pathogens, including HIV, SARS-CoV-2, and Neisseria meningitidis, and her research explores the role that both pharmaceutical (eg, vaccines) and non-pharmaceutical (eg, face coverings) interventions play in controlling infectious disease outbreaks. She also contributes to the Osterholm Update podcast series.
