Sherri Berger, MPH

Ms. Berger is the strategy and operations lead at CIDRAP for the Vaccine Integrity Project. She brings an extraordinary depth of experience from nearly three decades at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she held several senior executive roles. For the past 12 years, she reported directly to the CDC Director, serving as Chief Operating Officer from 2011 to 2021 and Chief of Staff from 2021 to 2023. In these roles, Ms. Berger provided critical operational and strategic leadership during major public health emergencies, including the Ebola, Zika, and COVID-19 responses.
